Deputy Secretary-General Yu Yang Meets with ADIUT Representatives

On 24 April 2026, Yu Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), met with a delegation led by Mr. Stéphane Davail, China Program Coordinator of the Association of Directors of University Institutes of Technology (ADIUT). The two sides exchanged views on implementing China-France talent joint development initiatives and strengthening youth exchanges between the two countries.
Yu Yang briefed CEAIE’s progress in advancing education dialogue, two-way student mobility, language cooperation, and the integration of industry and education between China and France in recent years. He noted that CEAIE has long been committed to enhancing educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. Going forward, CEAIE stands ready to deepen collaboration with ADIUT in engineering professionals' cultivation, youth exchanges, and capacity building for education administrators. He also invited ADIUT representatives to participate in the 27th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education.
Professor Davail introduced ADIUT's mandates and expressed appreciation for CEAIE's efforts in promoting France-China educational cooperation. He emphasized that ADIUT will maintain close contact with CEAIE to jointly implement the engineering talent cultivation program for fostering more engineering and technical professionals with an international vision for both countries.
Anne-Chantal Drain, Head of Logistics and Transport Management at IUT Besançon-Vesoul, Université Marie & Louis Pasteur, and Zhang Yali, Director of ADIUT’s China Representative Office joined the visiting delegation. Representatives from the Higher Education Cooperation Department of CEAIE and the China Centre for International Educational Exchange attended the meeting.
