As CEAIE ushers in its third decade, our mission is as critical as ever. Since its inception in 1981, CEAIE has built a reputation for bridging the Chinese and foreign education and delivering impacts on the education population in China and world-wide. Dedicated to international education, it has established the largest network in China, comprising 47 chapters and 616 member institutions.
Committed to working in close collaboration with partners in China and at abroad, CEAIE is in pursuit of its mission to provide excellence and accessibility for students, teachers, scholars, school leaders and administrators from China and the world to foster understanding and respect and to exchange brilliant ideas and practices in every aspect of the development and reform of education.
The world today is very different from 1981. China’s real economy is nearly 20 times larger than in 1981, while it runs the largest education system in the world. The sheer speed and scale of change has placed unprecedented opportunities and challenges. CEAIE is working actively to adapt to this changing environment. To meet the needs of social governance, we have established such sub-commissions as China Overseas-Study and Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Education. CEAIE will be committed to enhancing its soft power through more engagements in bilateral and multilateral cooperation, to achieve a win-win international cooperation relationship and accumulate more international resources.
