Deputy Secretary General An Yan Meets With Iranian Delegation

Beijing, 16 July 2024 - Dr. An Yan, Deputy Secretary General of CEAIE met with visiting Dr. Erfan Khosravian, President of Technical and Vocational University (TVU), Mr. Farajollah Talebi, Director General of International Scientific Cooperation of TVU, and Mr. Esmaeil Mehryar, Scientific Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China.
Dr. An Yan extended a warm welcome and briefed the visiting Iranian delegation on CEAIE and its TVET initiatives and projects. Dr. Khosravian introduced Iran’s TVET education system and TVU, and expressed his willingness to build collaboration with Chinese institutions in various areas. Mr. Mehryar noted that China and Iran possessed great potential for cooperation in TVET, hoping that both sides could establish closer ties to foster mutual development.
Dr. An Yan invited Dr. Khosravian to attend China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (CACIE) and TVU to participate in BRICS TVET Cooperation Alliance (BRICS-TCA).
Mr. Zhai Jinming, Director, and Ms. Zhao Ye, Deputy Director of Department of TVET, were present at the meeting.
