2024-2025 Chinese-French Language Teaching Assistants Orientation Successfully Held in Beijing

The Intercultural Adaptability and Profession Skills Orientation for 2024-2025 Chinese-French Language Teaching Assistants was successfully held in Beijing Language and Culture University from 27th to 29th August. Ms. Yu Bin, Second Grade Inspector of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, Dr. An Yan, Deputy Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange(CEAIE), Mr. Florent AYDALOT, Culture and Education Advisor - Deputy Director of the French Institute of China, and Mr. Huang Yifang, Vice President of Beijing Language and Culture University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. 

Since 2014, CEAIE has cooperated with France Education International and the French Embassy in China to carry out Chinese-French Language Teaching Assistant Program, which plays an important role as an integral part of the China-France people-to-people exchange mechanism. This program has made significant contributions to the enhancement of cultural exchanges,mutual understanding between youths, and the promotion of language teaching in China and France. 

Up to now, CEAIE has helped sending and hosting about 900 language teaching assistants to support Chinese and French language teaching in more than 100 schools. 16 French assistants will go to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Sichuan, Guangxi, Shandong and other provinces in China to support French teaching while 55 Chinese assistants will go to Versailles, Marseille, La Réunion and other regions in France to support Chinese teaching this year.
