Evaluation
Entrusted by the Ministry of Education, CEAIE is in charge of the evaluation of Chinese-foreign joint programs/institutions in vocational colleges. The evaluation is intended to specifically and specially verify if the institutions and programs are observing educational laws, running in accordance with legislation, carrying out national policies, fulfilling obligations regarding relevant agreements, promoting student cultivation, propelling the development of relevant industries and other critical elements. The evaluation project holds fast to the principle of assisting the administration of programs/institutions while promoting their development, and will mainly be the self-assessment of the programs/institutions concerned, relying on provincial educational administrative department, establishing a province-ministry co-evaluation system, thus leading the Chinese-foreign joint programs/institutions to a connotative development for promoting their self-improvement and self-development. The evaluation project will take the following steps: training, self-assessment, public notification and expert appraisal. The final result will classify the institutions into three categories: qualified, qualified with reservations and unqualified, according to expert appraisal, student-teacher feedback and other relevant elements.
In the mean time, entrusted by Beijing Education Commission, CEAIE has also conducted evaluation of Chinese-foreign joint programs in high schools.
