Deputy Secretary-General Fu Bo Meets with Delegation from the University of Zagreb, Croatia

On November 15, Ms. Fu Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), met with a delegation from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, led by Vice-Rectors Jurica Pavičić and Dubravko Majetić.
Ms. Fu highlighted the productive results of the Chinese delegation’s September visit to the University of Zagreb. She reviewed recent progress within the China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium (CCHEIC) and key initiatives planned for 2026. She expressed expectation that the university would further participate in the CCHEIC’s activities and help bring more Croatian higher education institutions into collaboration with Chinese universities.
Pavičić recognized the active role of CEAIE in advancing educational cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries. The University of Zagreb will continue to enhance communication with CEAIE and take an active part in the CCHEIC’s work.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on cooperation in such areas as joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and youth leadership dialogues, and shared a positive outlook on future collaboration.
