This issue of the “Young Envoys Scholarship” program Newsletter highlights 7 key activities of the exchange program for American and European youth in China from July to August 2025. Nearly 200 teachers and students visited cities including Beijing, Bayannur, Hohhot, Jinhua, Hangzhou and Shenyang. They deepened mutual learning and appreciation between Chinese and foreign youth through themed summer camps, academic exchange camps and international competitions.
The teachers and students engaged in specialized learning, practical activities, and cultural-sports exchanges around themes such as "Chinese Legal Studies", "Northern Frontier Culture Exploration", "Heritage of Ancient Architecture" and "Fencing Competitions & Exchange". In the professional practice, they visited enterprises including Zhong Lun Law Firm, Xiaomi Group and Unitree Robotics, conducting in-depth research and learning in fields such as legal practice, E-commerce, AI applications, Smart vehicles and automation technology. For cultural experience, they participated in Silk craftsmanship, Tie-dyeing, Calligraphy and Ink wash painting, and visited sites like the China National Archives of Publications and Culture, the Liangzhu Museum and the Xilamuren Grassland, immersing themselves in the profound heritage of Chinese culture. Meanwhile, through interactive programs such as the Youth Friendship Gala and mixed team fencing competitions, they enriched the exchange scenarios and enhanced cross-cultural friendship.
