On March 19, 2025, CEAIE President Liu Limin met with Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to China H. E. Peter Ližák in Beijing.
The two sides exchanged views on several topics, including inviting Slovak universities to join China-Central and Eastern European Countries Higher Education Institutions Consortium (CCHEIC) and conduct exchange and cooperation with Chinese universities, encouraging students from China and Slovakia to study and exchange in each other's countries, and promoting two-way mobility of faculty and students. Both sides agreed to continue promoting educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Slovakia under the framework of the China-CEEC Cooperation mechanism. President Liu Limin also invited Ambassador Ližák to attend the 26th China Annual Conference &Expo for International Education (CACIE) and recent activities hosted by CEAIE.
Deputy Secretary-General Fu Bo of CEAIE and Economic Counselor Lucia Skvareninova from Slovakia embassy attended the meeting.
