Based on the cases of American teenagers’ exchange and study in China through the Young Envoys Scholarship Program in June and July, 2025, we have compiled this newsletter with 7 highlight activities. Over 300 teachers and students from 7 groups visited cities including Shenzhen, Xi’an, Sichuan, Ningxia and Xinjiang. They participated in activities such as the “Zhi-Xing China: STEM Education Leaders’ Visit”, “U.S.-China Youth Leaders Dialogue” and “U.S.-China University Student Leaders Academy”, conducting academic seminars, cultural experiences and inter-school exchanges.
They visited primary and secondary schools, universities, technology enterprises, industrial bases and cultural sites to gain an in-depth understanding of China's STEM education practices and scientific and technological innovation achievements. In e-commerce poverty alleviation workshops, they tasted local specialties, observed the express packaging and order placement processes, and witnessed vivid cases of e-commerce boosting rural revitalization. They also took part in exchange activities such as music exchanges and sports interactions, which enriched the content of exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth and enhanced their friendship.
