AN YAN ATTENDED THE FOUNDING CEREMONY OF INDUSTRY-UNIVERSITY-RESEARCH ALLIANCE FOR SINO-GERMAN COOPERATIVE EDUCATION AND THE SINO-GERMAN INDUSTRY-RESEARCH COOPERATION FORUM

On July 13, the founding ceremony of the Industry-University-Research Alliance for Sino-German Cooperative Education and the Sino-German Industry-University-Research Cooperation Forum were held at Shenyang University. Dr. An Yan, Deputy Secretary General of CEAIE, Zhao Yanzhi, President of Shenyang University and Vice Chairman of the Commission on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education of CEAIE as well as Chairman of the Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools Joint Conference, Thomas Michel, Director of the BMW Brilliance Automotive Da Dong Factory, and Cui Yan, Chairman of Sinochem Environment Holdings Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony and delivered opening addresses.
An Yan extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the Alliance. She stated that in the new journey of accelerating the construction of a strong educational country, colleges and universities ought to form a closer innovation community with enterprises and promote the development of new-quality productive forces through the integration of industry and education as well as the convergence of science and education. She expressed that CEAIE and the Commission on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education of CEAIE will fully support the work carried out by the Alliance and actively promote the sustainable and high-quality development of Sino-German cooperation in education.
The Alliance was initiated by 13 presidium units, with 42 initial members. The Shenyang Declaration on Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation between China and Germany was issued during the conference.
