Secretary General Yang Jun Attends Global Smart Education Conference 2025

On August 18, Mr. Yang Jun, Secretary General of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), attended the Opening Ceremony and Plenary Session of the 2025 Global Smart Education Conference upon invitation. He also delivered a keynote address at the parallel session—Sino-Finnish Smart Education Forum and JoLII 10th Anniversary Ceremony.
In his speech, Yang Jun expressed warm congratulations on the tenth anniversary of Sino-Finnish Joint Learning Innovation Institute(JoLII). He highlighted that, with consistent support from the education authorities of both China and Finland, JoLII has deepened research collaboration, conducted teaching innovation, and developed teacher training, becoming an excellent model of China international education cooperation. Mr. Yang also noted that CEAIE has maintained long-standing and friendly relations with the education sector of Finland, and will continue to support Sino-Finnish educational cooperation with an open mind, striving to further facilitate the implementation of innovative achievements and deepen practical applications based on existing programs.
The 2025 Global Smart Education Conference took place in Beijing from August 18 to 20, jointly organized by Beijing Normal University and the UNESCO IITE. JoLII was established under the Memorandum of Cooperation between Chinese Ministry of Education and Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, with Beijing Normal University and the University of Helsinki acting as the lead coordinators.
