Secretary General Yang Jun Meets with Education Minister Counselor of the Australian Embassy and TEQSA CEO

On November 19, Yang Jun, Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), met with Alison Dell, Minister Counselor for Education of the Australian Embassy in Beijing, and Mary Russell, CEO of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).

Yang Jun shared CEAIE's practices and exploration in quality assurance for cross-border education. Mary Russell gave a briefing on TEQSA's responsibilities and initiatives in higher education and experience in quality assurance for cross-border education in Australia. And Alison Dell shared the progress of Australia's adjustment of international student policy. Both sides expressed willingness to further explore possible areas for cooperation in cross-border education quality assurance, such as international student mobility and Chinese-foreign cooperative education.

An Yan, Deputy Secretary General of CEAIE, and He Pei, Director of the Department of Cross-border Education Quality Assurance of CEAIE,  also participated in the meeting.
