President Liu Limin Meets with President Juan Corchado of the University of Salamanca

On May 14, Dr. Liu Limin, President of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), met with Prof. Dr. Juan Corchado, President of University of Salamanca (USAL). The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on promoting the sustainable development of two-way student flow and educational cooperation and exchanges in language learning between universities from China and other Spanish-speaking countries.
President Liu Limin introduced CEAIE’s recent collaborative developments with Spanish educational institutions in the field of higher education. He looked forward to a deepened cooperative tie with Spanish universities and extended his invitation to faculty and students of USAL to participating in the Young Envoys Scholarship (YES Program). He encouraged further collaboration in digital education, language learning, intercultural communication, research, and technological innovation through academic seminars, student exchanges, joint degree programs, and university-industry partnerships.
Dr. Juan Corchado introduced USAL, which is one of the few Spanish universities offering degree program on “Chinese Studies”, and emphasized that USAL has been committed to enhancing educational cooperation and exchanges with its Chinese counterparts, and USAL welcomed Chinese university students from all levels. He also looked forward to an enhanced collaboration between the two sides in areas such as artificial intelligence and language learning.
