Secretary General Yang Jun Leads A Chinese Higher Education Delegation to Mexico

From May 31 to June 1, Mr. Yang Jun, Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), led a Chinese higher education delegation to Mexico.
On May 31, CEAIE and the National Association of Universities of Mexico (ANUIES) jointly organized the China-Mexico Higher Education B2B Networking Meeting. Mr. Yang, Mr. Gonzalez, the Executive Secretary General of ANUIES and Mr. Zhang Run, Chinese Ambassador to Mexico delivered opening remarks. Both sides expressed willingness to explore diversified and long-term cooperation mechanisms, and further promote high-level cooperation between China and Mexico. Yang also invited representatives from Mexican institutions to participate in the 25th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (CACIE2024).
A total of 33 representatives from 24 Mexican universities attended the meeting. Representatives from both sides shared the latest practices of international exchange, and carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on future cooperation.
The China Higher Education Delegation was also invited to visit the Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO) and had a discussion with its vice president Mr. Alejandro Anaya Muñoz and representatives from major departments on potential collaboration.
