By visiting educational administrative departments and various educational institutions, and through discussions with Chinese education experts and scholars, the project promotes mutual understanding and deep cooperation between China's and Central and Eastern European countries' educational sectors. To date, it has hosted nearly 50 representatives and diplomats from Central and Eastern European countries. This year, 18 representatives from educational administrative departments, research institutions, and universities from nine Central and Eastern European countries visited Beijing, Ningbo, and Hangzhou. They also attended the ninth meeting of the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Higher Education Institutions Consortium held in Ningbo on May 24.
