2016 Vocational Education Leadership Training Group Completed Training Successfully in US

From Oct 30th to Nov 19th 2016, Vocational Education Leadership Training (VELT) Group, consisting of 17 members, received training in US.
This training was co-organized by CEAIE and AASCU. During the first week, all group members studied in Northern Virginia Community College focusing on organization structure, management system, credit system and pathways to universities of community colleges. The second week was in-depth learning on universities of applied science in Troy University. For the last week, AASCU organized lectures on international development, future trends and challenges of US higher institutes. During the training, B2B meeting was held to facilitate partnership building between Chinese and US institutes. Representatives from University of North Alabama, Western Illinois University, Mansfield University, Coastal Carolina University and Millersville University attended the meeting and had productive discussion on future collaboration with the trainees.
