The Fourth Board meeting of CEAIE Volunteer Committee for Intercultural Education (CVCIE) was held in Beijing on 2nd June 2016. Mme. Yang Meng, the Chair of CVCIE chaired the meeting. Mme. Zhang Ling, Vice-Chair of CVCIE, Pi Yijun, professor of China University of Political Science and Law, Li Shoumin, researcher of Hebei Provincial Department of Education, Li Jinjun, Secretary-General of Education Association for International Exchange of Guangzhou Province, and Yang Zhen, Vice Secretary-General of Education Association for International Exchange of Changzhou attended the meeting.
In consideration of the present international situation and the development of AFS programs in the last five years, the meeting set out goals of CVCIE in the 2016-2017 financial year and the development strategy for the next three years Meanwhile, the meeting contributed to the confirmation of topic of CVCIE Advisory Committee Meeting which will be held in September as well as to the preparation of the World Congress of AFS Intercultural Programs in October.
