THE 10TH CHINA-JAPAN EDUCATION EXCHANGE CONFERENCE SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The 10th China-Japan Education Exchange Conference, co-hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), organized by the Global Education Service (GES), was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan from November 13th to 15th. The theme is New Ideas and New Scenarios for China-Japan Educational Exchange and Cooperation in the New Era. It was supported by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Japan and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology of Japan.

Mr. Yang Jun, Vice President and Secretary-General of CEAIE delivered a speech. He encouraged educators from both countries to take this opportunity to integrate high-quality resources from both sides and build a new pattern of China-Japan educational cooperation in the new era. Mr. Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan, emphasized that there is a broad prospect for cooperation between China and Japan and both countries should look to the future and seek development together. Yumiko Ito, Director of Higher Education Bureau at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, pointed out that promoting student exchanges is very important for enhancing mutual understanding and building a stable cooperative relationship between the two countries.

Over 500 representatives from more than 200 educational institutions attended the conference, including Peking University, Renmin University of China, Dalian University of Technology, Chongqing No. 2 Foreign Language School, the University of Tokyo, Waseda University, Sophia University, and Doshisha International High School, etc..

The China-Japan Education Exchange Conference is a high-level event between the two countries, and has been successfully held for ten sessions. It has built a bridge for communication and dialogue, and played an important role in deepening people-to-people exchanges and promoting China-Japan relationship.
