On March 5, 2010, Dr. Jiang Bo, CEAIE Secretary-General, met with and entertained Mr. Lei Pui Lam (Steven), Delegate of the 11th National People’s Congress and President of the Chinese Education Association, Macau, and Mr. Wong King Keung, Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Administrative Council of the Asia International Open University (Macau), and his wife. Dr. Jiang Bo introduced CEAIE’s major tasks at present and future priorities in work and stated that CEAIE attached great importance to conducting educational exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao. The two sides exchanged views on establishing long-lasting mechanisms of contact and cooperation and improving educational exchanges and cooperation. Mr. Li Shunxing, former CEAIE Secretary-General, and Mr. Hu Shuzhi also attended the meeting, accompanied by Mr. Sun Jianing and Ms. Zhang Qiongqiong with CEAIE Department of Asian and Oceanian Programs.
