Mr. Sheng Jianxue Met Counselor (Cultural) of French Embassy to China

On July 1, Mr. Sheng Jianxue, Secretary General of China Education
Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) welcomed Mr. Anthony
CHAUMUZEAU, Counselor (Cultural) of French Embassy to China. Both sides
reviewed the collaborations between CEAIE and French institutions
including French Embassy to China and CampusFrance, etc, and exchanged
ideas on the further cooperation.
The year of 2014 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-France diplomatic relations. Under the guidance of
Ministry of Education of China and France, CEAIE has undertaken a
series of celebrative activities like Sino-French High School
Mathematics Exchange Event, China-France Language Assistant Programme
and Sino-French Higher Education Forum and Expo, etc. All these
programmes would act as a supporting role in the establishment of
China-France High Level People-to-People Exchange Mechanism this
September.
On the meeting, both sides have showed great interest in further
cooperation on the areas of basic education, vocational education,
higher education, language exchange and quality assurance in
China-France cross-border education.
