On August 18th, 2015, Deputy Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange(hereafter CEAIE) Shen Xuesong, Mr. Toru Hambayashi, Board Director of Fast Retailing CO., LTD, Japan, and Mr. Pan Ning, CEO of UNIQLO, Greater China attended the awarding ceremony of UNIQLO Scholarship(2015) in Shanghai.
To help the next generation of talented young Chinese to play active roles in the global economy, contribute to China’s future growth, provide scholarship recipients with opportunities to participate in exchanges with globally active business managers and other people who work internationally, CEAIE and Fast Retailing (China) Trading CO., LTD. (FR China) have established UNIQLO Scholarship Program since 2012. Each year, around 40 students from Peking University and six others would be selected and awarded the UNIQLO Scholarship. In 2015, 40 students from Peking University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Zhongshan University and Xi'an Jiaotong University received the scholarship.
