From January 21 to 22, training of policies and regulating systems of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools was successfully held in China University of Petroleum in Qingdao. Entrusted by Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of MOE, the training was organized by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and coorgainzed by China University of Petroleum. Mr. Cen Jianjun, Director-General of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of MOE, Mr. Meng Qingxu, Inspector-General of Shandong Provincial Education Department, and Ms. Shan Honghong, President of China University of Petroleum attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches. Mr. Sheng Jianxue, Secretary-General of CEAIE hosted the opening ceremony and delivered a training with the theme of ‘Several thoughts on development of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools’.
Mr. Cen Jianjun said in the speech that the cause of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools improved profoundly in recent years. This training, in a good timing and with an unprecedented scale and coverage, would surely improve the sustainable and healthy development of the cause.
Mr. Sheng Jianxue illustrated the different phases in 30-years’ development of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools. Through timely summarizing the experiences and facing challenges, there would be greater progress. This training had a rich and practical theme, reached the consensus, thus would bring new vigor into the development of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools.
Covering from policies and regulation, price and taxation, hiring and serving foreign experts to quality assurance and regulating systems, this training was pragmatic and targeted. Mr. Yan Bingchen, Director of Division of Cross-border Education of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of MOE, experts from National Development and Reform Commission, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, State Administration of Taxation gave themed training. Representatives from Zhejiang Provincial Education Department and Surry International Institute of Dongbei University of Finance & Economics shared their experiences.
Directors in charge of foreign affairs from 26 provincial education departments, delegates from 351 universities attended the training, through which delegates learnt more about the cause of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and upgraded their overall quality and managing abilities of Chinese-foreign cooperation educational programs.
